Wet weather racing against AWD performance cars is always going to end in tears, if not dents.

Two hair dryers zip tied to the front bumper. Pro tip - pointing them down at the road for best results. I was quite embarrassed when this was pointed out to me last winter and I was wondering why I was still having traction issues.

Apparently QLD drivers require special training for driving in the wet - maybe our Kiwi brethren as well?

I think most of us are alright and don't see an issue with the fact you never get traction in the wet. From reading it I don't know what culture they are actually from.

if you lose it get off the gas and keep it soft in the hands.

Nothing sudden. Brakes as an example, People panic and stab at them.

Once it's lost it is about harm minimisation.. I know I,am not a scientist

but it comes down to intertia and abrubt stops in the end.
