I've never really heard of people needing Teflon lines and a fuel rail to run e85

I've been running e85 on and off for 20k and haven't had any issues

Pw surge x 2 460s (submerged surge) 1000cc kpm injectors fuel reg is what I have. Std intank and fuel rail.. makes 415rwkw on 98 @ 18psi and 470 19-20psi on e85.. I use a turbosmart 12psi actuator

I was under the impression that 2 pumps would need aftermarket fuel rails as pressure gets too high. If I use 2 x 044 pumps on standard fuel rails, would it be touch and go?

2 x 044 running full noise on an otherwise stock system will see ~ 0.8 bar rise in base fuel pressure. Dude with he long name, have you checked your base fuel pressure?

How much boost Mick?

We couldn't get boost below 21-22psi so ended up fattening up the afr's to 11-1 and with very little timing it made 410rwks on 98

20 psi

Probably was talking about the challenges in controlling boost with. them.

we do our own port jobs and had no issues controlling it, even with the 4" exhaust etc

would installing a FPR1200 on its own suffice with 2 x 044 or are new fuel rails and fitting kit needed which costs a poop load

Done one on a BF yet Mick?

Spiro had no issues with FG's.

I think mine was the first BF, then a CMS car was done and they had the same issue.

I think it's an actuator issue so I'm going to try a garrett one down the track.

I would advise anyone considering a 6235 on a BF to get the turbo without the included actuator and opt for a garrett one.

no 6235 on BF's yet mate, we used the supplied actuator as the owner supplied it all himself, BF to FG should make no difference though
