My question is...can I use plain old superglue on this thing to beef it up and hold it in place, or do I have to use some sort of special black goop like PolkAudio have...is it a special kind of flexible glue or not?Worst case scenario, will superglue melt my speaker like it did the nylon carpet in the apartment I used to rent and then had to cut a big chunk out of the thing to make it unnoticeable, pass inspection and get my bond back?edit...some googling turned up this post elsewhere, I guess this is what I need?Loctite Black Tak 4105 is used by a lot of manufacturers, Black Tak comes in a kit which is the glue and activator. Hopefully there's enough length on the tinsel lead so it doesn't just pull off again and start slapping again.. You can rip em clean off driving them too hard. I've done it many times with subs haha.
