My fuel system is due for an upgrade, I'm very interested in the twin intank setup kpm have, they can't speak highly enough of them, and I'm happy with everything their saying, I just need to hear it from others that are running this system in their 6 turbos or gt335's..

So is the zero surge claim even with 5l in the tank true? Even with e85? Drag racing conditions? Circuit conditions?

Not that I ever plan to run it that low

Haha he is very proud of his product, it's not that I don't trust his word, I'd just like to hear some other opinions

there are other suppliers that had initial dramas with their E85 set up, most of them have been sorted but for some reason KPM were the only ones to cop flak about it, even 1 customer that bagged the product on forums but turned out had run out of fuel

Thanks ratter, your input is , I've decided to give it a go, just have to change my tank to the later style bf tank... Have you done this before?

I was at their fuel system presentation in Perth the other night.

I agree with everything he said about the debate intank vs surge. Intank is the only way to go in these street driven cars.

Surge is not the way to go in 99.9 % of cases with these cars and the current surges on the market are setup wrong IMO as they just boil the fuel. I've done a few fuel system setups myself in my younger days and I setup my surges (no intanks in those days) so they keep fuel temps down.

I was very interested in that tranna, but I wasn't going to travel from Sydney for it, I might have to pick your brain at some stage haha..

I agree, I havn't had a huge amount of experience in fuel systems but from most performance books I've read and people I've spoken to, all the theory seems to make sense, I'll have a better idea of how and why it works better once I have it in my hands..

The only thing is that I'll have to install the later style tank, I have a BF mk2 but it was one of the first so it doesn't suit the street fighter module...

I'm hoping it is a straight forward change over, I think the ventilation system is different between the two, I'll have to source one and go from there.

At 413rwkw don't have a single issues regarding fuel surge or lean out on e85 or 98

I've even run it down to about 4 liters left in the tank on e85 and I gave it a boot full and no issues whatsoever

Also whisper quiet which is nice

I have no idea why more people don't run them?
