Just a quick query,

If we change the ZF tune via the xCal (load the TCM) does that cause the ZF to go back into re-learning mode?

If it loads a tuned TCM is it already sorted or does it relearn?

If we load a stock TCM one back in does it relearn, revert to the learnt state it was when the tranny was first tuned or is the learning totally seperate to what the xCal does and would need to be returned to Ford to start the relearn process?

No probs,

Swapping between a tuned TCM and the stock one returns it to how it was when the tune was actually done, either way?

Pretty sure most auto trans today are what is called adaptive learning, this means they are constantly adapting to how a car is bring driven, drive it easy and the shifts become soft/cushy drive it harder and they fi up a little

A little off topic, but ratter- can the ZF be tuned to that it's only harsher/quicker shifts in 'Performance' mode and factory/driving miss daisy shifts while in 'D'??
