Hey Guys,

I've recently purchased an SS inductions tripple gauge pod for my FG F6. I've got 2 x cobalt autometer elec boost and oil pressure gauges on their way from the states and I think I've decided I'd like a PLX touch gauge as my 3rd.

Issue is that the PLX gauge connects directly to the OBDII port to get its info. I was wondering what anyone else has done to get something permanently plugged into the port? The trim piece is ridiculously close, which I think they've done on purpose.... I was thinking maybe one of these:

I'm skeptical though, as my low profile bluetooth OBDII adapter requires the fuse cover be left off in operation. Any thoughts before I try a cable from china? I've also ordered a speco sandwich plate for the oil pressure sender, which I decided on rather than a brass T. That way I've easily got another outlet for oil temp etc in the future if I want one. Would have got one with my current USA order except that Autometer don't do a full sweep metric oil temp gauge!

Cheers,

Rob
