Does you I6 have a factory engine oil cooler? If not the piping is different.

To my knowledge 4 piping styles exist

1. Engine oil cooler only (Manual FPV Generally)

2. Trans cooler only (Auto Non FPV generally)

3. Eng and Trans Cooler WITH thermostat (Auto FPV Generally)

4. Eng and Trans Cooler WITHOUT (Auto FPV Apparently)

I need the details of number 4.

To me the thermostat housing looks the same as N/A 6, just the hoses are different. Cant you just use your old hoses.

After looking at the unit I think it feeds the auto trans heat exchanger first.

The only part you cannot buy it the thermostat.

I'm not overly interested in the parts involved, as above i'm more concerned about the coolant flow path.

Hopefully Chlaxn and SHP can give me a couple of decent happy snaps that will show me what i need to see.
