Chaos310 Donating Members 228 Member For: 12y 4m 2d Gender: Male Posted 16/05/14 07:41 AM Share Posted 16/05/14 07:41 AM I run a stock GT3582R and on 20psi make 432rwkw on E85. Previously 387rwkw on pump 98 at 17.5psi.Turbo mod: wastegate opened to 38mm, 12lb actuator... done. Manta 4"dump to twin 3".No one is saying that the upgraded in tank pump is a bad thing and that it cant cope with delivery, the point of a surge tank is to prevent fuel starvation in a situation where under a cornering or acceleration force, the fuel level in the tank (if low) can slosh away from the in tank pump pickup, then send air to the fuel rail and KAPOW!$800 suddenly became cheap...I know of cars that make more power than mine off intank pump upgrades, but for me, the fear of that one time you give it some stick with a lower fuel level and leaning out because of fuel moving away from the pickup... I'll pay the money now.My .02c
