Id choose a different car. Unless you plan on taking the whole family around the track.

^ Probably this, unless you just love the fords and are dying to race one and try and surprise some ppl. Otherwise maybe do some cost benefit stuff and see whether it makes sense to race the falcon, factoring in cost of mods and race readyness stuff, see how competitive you are actually going to be able to be compared to the competition.

I think Rosie on here used to race a B series? He got pretty seriously into track days and I think progressed? Nelsonian, if he chimes in, will know.

If you are just going to do a couple of track days / fun days - I would go for the Turbo.

If you want to race, I would look at an XR8, and check all the rules for production or Improved Production to ensure you build it to spec. If you run a Turbo, they put you up a class, and you are up against seriously quick cars, and you would not be as competitive.
