TEX SCR0TUM RIDES AGAIN

YEEEEHAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW

Excellent position to be in mate! if I had to choose, I'd choose FPV. B series FPVs are very sharp looking IMHO.

BA mk2 were the first Phoons manual only, complete with clutch failure before launch

Fark Buffers. That was some time ago. :stirthepot:

Well I've committed to buying the F6 and will pick it up in about a week while my mate gets himself another car.

I took the F6 for a long test drive the other day and came away really impressed!

I drove it down a bit of freeway and then drove down this really crappy ,bumpy, twisty, undulating road(Swamp rd) and the car felt really tight, no rattles or knocks at all.

One corner is a tight hairpin that goes up a steep hill and the surface is all corrugated and the car felt really planted.

I gotta say that after 162,000ks I would've expected the suspension to have a bit of wear and tear but it felt really good!

The suspension was firm with out being annoyingly jiggly like most sports type suspensions.

The motor had plenty of go and the gearbox(manual) shifted really nice, it also had a good soundtrack(whoosh, pfffft, whoosh, pfffft etc) for a stock engine and exhaust!

If I was being picky the only thing I disliked was the instruments were a little hard to read(I must be getting old).

As for the FG XR6 turbo(which I haven't driven yet, although I've ridden in it a couple of times) my other brother inlaw has put a higher bid in at $10,500(yeah I know, zero class) and if his wife lets him buy it then he can have it(I'm not getting into a bidding war) plus the way he changes cars , he will probably offer it to me in 6 months for about $8,000, which is cool with me!

CHEERS!!!

Just thought I'd let you guys know that I'm also getting the FG XR6 turbo as well as the BF Typhoon!

I knew that my other brother inlaws wife would say NO! :nyaah:

The wife took the FG for a drive yesterday and she loved it , the car is immaculate(my brother inlaw has always been seriously anal about all the cars he's owned)

So I will pickup both cars sometime next week, whoohoo!!! :pandalol:

To say I'm TOTALLY STOKED would be an understatement! :wwww:

Will post pic's when I"ve got both cars.

THANKS again guys for the support, CHEERS!
