Hey everyone I have a 09 6t, it has premium sound so they colour screen n that, but I want to get the bigger dash out of the newer fgs because they are better, will this just plug and play or how much will be involved?

Definatly not plug and play. Different looms and computers in the Mk2.

Easier to trade the Mk1 for a Mk2 if you really want the bigger screen.

Mister FPV on ebay claims to have a patch cable (that he will only sell with a Mk2 ICC) has anyone done this?

Ive been on the fence about this since I first heard "it cant be done". It wouldn't surprise me if the icc plugs/pinouts are different but surely that's it. I can't see ford spending x amount of dollars engineering entirely new pcm,bcm and whatever else because of a touch screen and different icc firmware. Even if the Icc is 100% different it would have been cheaper to make it work with what they had.
