Ok so here's how my morning went:

Unlocked car, started car, it ran for 1 second then turned off, wouldn't crank over and the "security code error" popped up on the ICC. Jumped out and locked/unlocked, same thing again. Then wouldn't crank over

Here's where it gets interesting

Came back to it after work and disconnected/reconnected the battery and it started, turned it off, got out and locked/unlocked. The indicator flashed twice as long on the unlock and started for 1 second then died again. Key in ignition position and the smartlock hand flashed a few times. Disconnected battery for 20 mins and now it's fine...no issues at all

Any ideas? I thought maybe battery but it cranks over fine...

How old is your battery?

Even if they test fine and still crank OK, a dying battery tends to do some weird sh*t in these things.

Been in there since I got it, the battery indicator has lost its "ok" colour but doesn't indicate it needs charging, might switch it out tomorrow. And here I thought my OBDII bluetooth wasn't draining it. It's just odd that it runs for a second then turns itself off, it doesnt die, just turns off

maxmundy I have seen the keys play up.

But probably battery, I did make a video of the mental sh*t they do when the batteries get low last time mine went. Will post it one day.
