What I wanna know what will make my car more fuel efficient? Obviously my right foot has the most to do with it but what mods would help.Mods to the car so far:Nizpro coolerNizpro 4" intakeNizpre battery relocationNizpro V/springsDekka 60'sStock exhaustStock fuel pumpStock actuator/wastegate Makes 250rwkw's safely. Last time I had it on the dyno, I think it was running a tad rich so improvements can be had there. What I wanna know is if I change Cat or cat/dump and retune would that help?.Would it be worth getting a 91 tune?Im not chasing more power as my cars done almost 200,000kms and the 4sp and engine wouldn't like it very much and the last thing I need is to fix anything.. Thought about a cheap daily but don't have room for one and theres 2 regos, 2 insurance and I couldn't stand driving a piece of sh*t everyday. I eventually would want to get an FG xr6t or g6et but that's down the track as I'm building a house atm too..Anyother ideas as what mods can 'help'? Worse case scenario it public transport but really CBF lol...

Seriously the only mod that may help is an exaus and cat but don't bet on it but on the up side it will sound heaps better

O2 sensor changed? what temp thermostat? what plug gap has your mechanic checked compressions Fuel trims etc etc Edited 25/04/14 11:51 PM by ratter

Maybe I'm just unconsciously just wanting to do more mods and trying to justify it to myself lol.. Edited 26/04/14 02:06 AM by MiKa

I assume you've already got the plenum done? Only thing I can suggest is fitting a voltage booster to the coils & opening the plug gap back up. Maybe port the wastegate too, the ecu will be able to regulate the boost at speed a little better
