A external gate' may have been tunable but I just put the Xforce cat back in .Grab a replacement cat from xforce and tune the biarch! You could punch the core and remove that plate. Or buy a new Xforce cat. If the intake and exhaust are really free flowing , boost control with the std size flapper can be an issue.
