Pulled 250 rwkw.Upgraded to 18" rims went with Yokohama advan a13's (great tyre btw).I had bilstein shocks and king springs (sl+ssl) put in a couple of months ago (Thanks Jet). Completely changed how I felt about the car. No longer felt like a heavy boat.Valve springs were giving in, and I felt the stopping power needed improving so had to do something......Later this afternoon I'm picking it up, but I'm told its making 307rwkw, which I'm pretty happy with, the new mods are:* Full exhaust, 4" dump > 5" cat, 3.5" piping* plazmaman valve springs* siemens 1000 injectors* avo intercooler + piping* ba premium front calipers, t3 rotorsCan't wait to pick it up! Not sure what I'm more excited for, the brakes or the power! Hoping the exhaust doesn't drone too much....Pic attached is earlier this year, with new wheels/tyres, but before being lowered.

Should be a mighty upgrade even for only 50rwkw peak figure, should be way better over the whole rev range.Low kms as well so nicely done. I've had my BF2 since August 2008 and it's got about 230,000km now I think.

Will try and get a pic of the finished product as well, looks much sweeter sitting a bit lower. As you said the power should be improved across the range, looking forward to more down low. My first tune was lean, and power only came on late and sudden in the range

Who's doing the work/tuning? Surge tank/fuel pump and prob actuator/wastegate is whats holding it back from more power I reckon..My BA has only ever seen max 250rwkw's and have had it for years too.. Think ill buy something new rather than modifying it anymore, its just on 200,000kms so the auto and engine won't like it too much anyway.

Decided to stick with what I knew, fix it up and make it better than ever Graham West is doing the work/tuning. They have a good rep in Adelaide (also known as adelaide performance engineers), know there way around a xr6t, but dont get mentioned much on here. I was going to do a fuel pump, but he said mine was going fine, unneeded at this stage. I think your right about the wastegate, will be talking to him about it when I pick it up. Not sure how much more power I need....famous last words....

But my BA with the kms it has is really feeling its age, noises, things feeling very loose, headlining peeling off and more. It will never have that newish feel again. I love my T but it would take a lot of $$ to get it where I'm happy with it, whereas an FG I can just do the performance mods and be happy and it will last longer be more reliable than the BA. No probs Jet, still loving the suspension!I got busy+sick on the weekend, didn't end up taking it for a decent drive till tonight. Wow! Its awesome. Although its 'only' 50kw more, Its better through the whole rev range. Doesn't feel as sluggish as before. Tune was great, turns out main tuner there owned a xr6t himself (although not anymore), and his passion for them was obvious when I picked it up.The front brake upgrade was also substantial, couldn't tell much in the city, but once I hit the hills it was obvious immediately. I'm wondering how much T3's and better pads at the rear would improve it.Over all loving it. Exhaust is a bit noisy for me, but it sounds good outside the car, non-car caring friends and family said it was louder than before, but not 18yo P-plater stupid loud, which is good. As I wanted car back for long weekend tuner couldn't fix the exhaust touching the bell housing before I picked it up, which is causing a bit of vibration, but its going back next week to finish that bit off which will hopefully shut it up a bit from within the cabin. Can't think of why else it would seem louder in cabin than outside!Heres the graph. Looks a lot better than my last one (lean) Luke/Ralph - 8th engine.... whoa... definitely something wrong there, you should seek help. Unsure if good mechanic or shrink required.
