I spoke to a few people today as well and they also recommend the true trac diff so I'm gonna go with that. Someone earlier mentioned something about the type of bushes used depend on your suspension set up??? (lowered or stock I guess). I'm running king springs, dropped it about 30mm

I just drove my car down to Vic from SA and dropped it off at Pit Lane Performance to get some work done including a trutrak. Andrew and I spoke of the bushes and have decided that the genuine fraud ones would be better for me coz old - bad back - etc. Mine is sitting at 340 htg at the rear and the fraud rubber ones should be a bit softer than the superpro ones................I think I remember him saying that anyway.

I asked about a million questions of them this morning so I could of stuffed up and got this wrong

Fraud ones are indeed better for NVH but as we all know are prone to splitting and the main source of axle tramp on sedans. It really comes down to the compromise the individual is willing to make.

I also there is a user on the Australian Ford Forums known as Cat600, I think.

He has a business in WA and he makes his own bushes. Now I don't know if this sort of publicity is allowed on this forum.

If it is not, I apologize in advance.

However that being said, he has made his own diff bushes and they seem to work a treat.

I personally don't have them myself, but from what I have heard, they take a beating and are not as noisy as the nolothane(I have these installed) or pro Comfort series.

Do a bit more research in regards to the diff bushes as well. ;)

Just to clarify one point in masdas post above, the comments I've read relating to the tbe CAT600 bushes are that they're quieter than the Super Pro SOLID bushes, not comfort. I dare say these are the bushes I'll end up with in my GT once the standard ones flog out.

I've broken a set of Super Pro comfort bushes and have used their solid bushes in my old turbo...they're pretty noisy.

Thanks for clarify that mate. I knew I read it somewhere, but could not find it when I was posting.

I also tried to edit my post to say that:

I also "hear that" there is a user on the Australian Ford Forums known as Cat600, I think.
