NO SUCH LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!The update discs B29 Calibration and C2 Systems Calibration corrupt the WDS files and all dealers have been told not to load them!!!!!!!!!!So seems like the stalling problem still remain to be resolved. How much bloody longer do we have to wait FORD :banghead: Maybe FORDTECH can shed so light on this ....... When I first had it is stalled a few times in stop start traffic. Each time after you 'blipped' the throttle to move forward a car length, the revs would drop too far and it would idle roughly for a fraction of a second, it would do this a few time then it would stall. And would crank for much longer than normal before firing. It was flashed at the 3000k service in about March 03. All ok now.Although it never has what I would call a smooth idle, ....my 1973 P76 V8 has a far smoother idle.

YCL, That sounds pretty familia for an early level PCM "Glitch" that was overcome by the later level cal's at that time.Your original problem that was fixed by the reflash actually involved a more agressive self clean procedure for the OCV's(Oil Control Valves). However the stalling problem that is being experienced by most people at the moment are late production manuals built after May 2003 that have the second level PCM's fitted. If anyone wants to check what level PCM their vehicle is fitted with simply look at the label attached to the side of the PCM in the engine bay.Vehicles built after 13 May 2003:3R23 12A650 AGA= XR6T Manual3R23 12A650 AHA= XR6T AutoIf your PCM has been updated then the last letter in the part number will be "B". Did it only once when relatively new (less than 3000 K's), but now at 7000 K's seems to be a bit more regular. Normally happens when coming to a full stop on a hot day with aircon on.I am hoping for a fix at the 15,000 Km service (or earlier if it gets worse  )

Only a couple of weeks after I got it, it stalled cruising around Braddon on the Friday night of Summernats. Oh the shame. Hasn't happened again so I haven't reported it. My (auto) car is same build date and had stalling problem but it has been fixed now (presumably ECU reflash). Idle is smooth.
