If you make your car weigh 1800k's with you in it & have same size tyres all round, I'll run you.

Scotty

I missed this one

Im going to run a set of 255 17 inch radials on the back, and 245s on the front for a few runs. My car weighs 1760kg with me, so I will put another 40kg of ballast on the tray, and then weigh it in front of you at the track. Should go 12.10 or so at 114mph like this. If it makes you happy, I will take the blower belt off, run it normally aspirated, and still pull a 12.90 at 105 for you :)

Still feeling confident? Or is it run and hide time now :) And, before you do the usual T owner thing of sobbing, sooking, whining, doing anything to avoid actually having to drag race someone, it was YOU that laid the challenge. Now back it up scaredy pants.

How much head start you want?

Tuner,

What have you done to the tonner to get it running these times?

I'm genuinely interested in getting a run down on the mods you've done to it. PM me if you don't want to post it here. :)

Cheers

Who are you calling scaredy pants? You're the one that ran away from making a hi-po XR6T. Instead you totally nerded out and went and got a gay 1 tonner *beep* mobeeel.

Enjoy your easter Clown!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Tuner,

I am sorry that my car will not be ready for the LS1 nationals or I would be there.

My ute has already run mid 12's and I plan on going into the 11's before the end of the month and next month I have more mods planned :finger: .

To me doing up a car and drag racing is all about fun and not sledging, I play cricket to do that.

Best of luck at the nationals, post your times up as it will give me something to aim at

I will in turn post my times with scans of my time slips from Calder when I run the car and maybe we can have some long distance fun seeing who can go the quickest.

No matter who you are there is always someone quicker than you, and that goes for you and me, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun trying

Ah it wont be long before hes flashing it back to standard and pulling all the bits off, taking it back to Expensive Daewoo for a new engine. Like alot of these chev boat anchors.

I have seeen this hapen to 3 with blowers and one even split a bore.

You guys recon we have probs with the T's Have a look a LS1 forum, guys there had 3 motors replaced. Not just one or 2 either.

Enough of my ranting

You might want to have a look at the number of Ts that have bent rods, detonated pistons, and punched holes through the block....and that's before they hit the track. When comparing a boat anchor V8 made from alloy, or an old Taxi iron six from the 50s with a pair of cams and a huffer on it, the smart will always realise that neither is a particularly good engine....

Still, racing on the Internet is much cheaper and easier for you guys, aint it? Cant break a motor on the keyboard eh!
