A great learning curve for the beginners here - Just substitute "wives" or "girlfriends" for the stock XR6T dreamers -"Dial your own ET racing with wives or girlfriends at the wheel. This works well and is usually interesting to watch. All DYO ET selections will be with no qualifying just prior to the event so for those who are entering, make good use of the practice period earlier in the day. However, there will be a short practice period prior to this event. Makes an interesting conversation on the way home if they run a better time than the guys!" I don't think he was refering to modded T's here,I have a stock T and I'd fully expect a modded commadore to blow me away, well, yeah....It's just a bank ballance contest, why not just pull up at the tree, compare disposable incomes and drive back to the pits?hey guys I remember Martin's posts when he was modding the T and everyone wanted to know him then, If you disagree with what he's saying, go to the LS1 meet and have a go. surely it's all in good fun. It was mentioned in the thread advertising this meet that some people couldn't think of anything more boring than a bunch of LS1's drag racing! Who gives a rats ar$e what the car is, the fact is they will be bloody quick whether it be a Ford, Expensive Daewoo or whatever else turns up! :tosser: Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8805-ls1-drag-nationals/page/5/#findComment-87200 Share on other sites

Depends what the newest toy in the shed is I s'pose.
