Never been to the drags but my old BA used to override TC and switch itself off.

My g6et does this in the rain under certain circumstances and if I was to take a guess it has to have something to do with steering angle and yaw and possibly even throttle position. The logical explanation is that the system deems it can no longer safely recover the vehicle with the rear brakes alone and leaves it up to the driver. Just my theory and im not sure if the dsc was that advanced on the BA.

Mate mine had a mild tune 348 rwhp. Common occurrence back then. Don't think the more modern cars and years of experienced tunes that it happens that often anymore.

Hmm well mine is stock so putting down less than that(until I sell this farkin house....) and only does it in the rain if you stomp it out of a corner. Works great in the dry.

So who's guilty of leaving traction control on accidentally during the burnout. I did it once.. Quite embarrassing

yeh mate , done it a few times lol.. im a forgetfull f*cker though .. but yes embarrasing .. also doing a burnout before your ment to and getting a spray from marshall also rather embarassing.. eh f*ck it.. its all practice.. . I suggest finding a spot with no one around and practising your burnouts...

Traction was fine man, I used a pair of Mickey Thompson et street radials, pretty bald I might add but they were basically a pair of slicks haha, cheers Lennox I was pretty stoked about the time

yes I will have to get me some et streets for when I run the ute at willowbank. mine is a tonne rated ute so for the road I am restricted to 215 60 16 . have not driven the ute with the turbo engine ,only with the v8 I am tacking out at the moment . so that will be interesting
