xraz6T Member 3 Member For: 15y 4m 22d Posted 13/04/14 07:21 AM Share Posted 13/04/14 07:21 AM Hi everyone, My fg Xr6 Turbo was recently tuned with the normal modifications, full exhaust, injectors, cold air intake etc. The car runs well, however since the tune it feels like the car runs away on its own power (especially down hills) without any throttle input. The Zf transmission has been tuned as well for firmer shifting, but now once I shift down gears, the gears feel like they no longer hold the car, the revs continue to rise slowly and engine breaking is useless. Ive also observed that the fuel usage no longer drops to zero when the throttle is off. It tends to sit on 3 - 4 litres per hundred. Ive spoken to the tuner and at first he changed the amount of throttle inputs on the mapping, but after it still occurred he didn't see that there was an issue. However, from my point of view he doesn't know what has happened. Its really only a small thing, but after paying good money I expect things to be right.
