I think its an emissions tuning thing cause spark is really retarded on cold starts.

Also most tunas will recommended the genuine plugs which are also cheap as chips. You say you tested your coils using a scope? Do you mean measuring the waveform on a digital oscilloscope? And how did you test the secondary windings? A coil that passes a bench test can still fail under load as they are heat sensitive so I wouldn't dismiss them. Didn't get a chance to hook the scope up and road test might do that tomorrow if I get time. It's also over boosting working with tuner on sorting that outSent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk

barnz Member 3,047 Member For: 11y 26d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 15/04/14 10:16 PM Share Posted 15/04/14 10:16 PM You can test the secondary winding with a low amperage inductive probe which is more or less a really sensitive dc clamp meter, which are a fickle things as they are effected by the earths magnetic field and are sensitive to the orientation in which they are used. Impossible to use on a COP system that is in situ. Bench test only. Also are you sure you arent just hitting boost cut since its over boosting. Never hit it myself so im not sure what it feels like. I've never had it hit boost cut before though eitherSent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk
