Sounds Interesting, it might appear mine are not cracked but have more backlash because of use and age I'd hate to find out the hard way though by spending lots of cash to not get desired result, the reasoning Ford guy said is that V8's close the throttle noticeably slower than the Turbos and told me a brand new Turbo will clunk exactly like mine. May be me finding problems with my car that don't exist but hope to soon find out.

So Marco your car is pretty new, what do you reckon about your Nolathane bushes compared to stock in terms of noise and comfort?

I'm tossing up putting a brand new set of Factory ones in mine or putting in what you run.

Dan came past my place on Friday and we had a look under my car. Seaview ford gave me the option to get my diff bushes replaced under warranty. I did not pay for labour, but I did pay for the parts.

That being said they simply asked me if I wanted the nolathane bushes and I said yes. I did not know any wiser and did not get a choice of which ones. I am sort of glad they choose the right combination.

I did personally notice a difference in the NVH but it is not as bad as what Dan has in his car.

I do have the 49186 and 49188 and I have got use to them.

I notice them more at lower gears and speed and when the engine is cold in the mornings.

Once the engine has warmed up a bit, the backlash is not so bad and the NVH is not so bad.

My only hope is that if either of you get this combo and find it has a lot less NVH, which is great, that you dont flog them within 1000km.

I dont thrash my car with burnouts or drifting cause I drive like a nana most of the time, so it is possible that the bushes I have installed are having a nana life.

Surely there are more people out there with this combo installed.

I'm guessing manuals f*** up these diff bushes a hell of a lot quicker than autos? I'm at 70k km now and still have the factory diff bush, it's an auto but it certainly hasn't had an easy life, especially since being tuned.
