Soooo, given how FPV harp on about brand integrity and the exclusivity and prestige of owning an FPV, do you guys reckon I'd be justified in contacting FPV directly to let them know of my dissatisfaction and disappointment in the "service" I've got from one of their dealers and the fact that it's inconvenienced me and taken away much of the excitement of having bought a brand new FPV GT and seeing if they feel open to compensate me in some way (brake upgrade would more than do the trick)? When I mentioned to the dealer that I wanted someone to fit the new stripes who's work I could see and proven to be good and care enough to make sure it's done perfectly their response was "if you want someone outside of our workshop to do it that will have to be at your expense"...YOU FÙCKING WHAT MATE?!

There fark tards. Tell them that they should of got it right in the beginning. There fark up. Tell them to send the car back to FPV and get them to fit it at here cost. Fuking fark tards they are.

FPV are quite good in their communication. Example is I have a 09 F6 bought 2nd hand and noticed that on the RH drivers side skirt clear coating was starting to come off. After contacting them via email and have a case person I emailed photo's and was instructed to have it inspected by ford for further photo's and a quote from a repairer. After a constant weekly follow-up from them to me on the progress it was repaired out of warranty at their cost.

One cannot complain about FPV service. :)

How can ford send an FPV from factory without stripes, OR do the dealers normally put them on?

I reckon you should contact FPV and give them an earful especially after the dealers response.

That is total BS!!!!

When I looked at buying a FPV awhile ago I walked out a dealer on the Gold Coast for being a total Fark tard. They have no idea on customer service. I ended up buying in brisbane.

Give the car back to them and tell them you want the car you ordered. A GT with genuine , not ebay stripes. I think you are pushing your luck with the brakes. BUT, you could ask FPV to give you a killer price on the front 6 piston ( compensation for being dicked around and to make you feel the LUV again) and then sell yours. Then you shouldnt be out of pocket.

f*ck the dealer , take your complaints straight to FPV.

I also agree with FPV Tranny .......On my quest , I also was very disappointed with the service from the FPV sales representative .. What I found , is a lack of knowledge, lack of empathy for the brand , and a basic need for a sale at what ever cost .. Agree , do to dissimiliar to any other purchase , do your homework , seek a station that will provide you most of your wants , and from there , you should be able to then negotiate to the satisfaction of all stakeholders , the bits that are missing ..

Often , we make the error to be lead by price , and not have a understanding of who we are dealing with - then , when it turns pear shape , as is sometimes , the case , price, is very easily forgotton and we only recall the terrible experience .

I always say , start with a relationship , and price should then develop from there , as do the other boxes to be ticked .........I dont know how long it took others - but it took me forever to commit to a dealer - having spend many a weekends with countless dealers .......it seemed the more time spend , the greater the disappointment .
