I understand completely.

When I talk about response, and that some are '"laggier" than others, most if not all these turbos will outspool a T04z, and have better peak power. I keep stressing T3 turbos because it is honestly bolt on change your intake and you have 600rwkw potential. But depending on your coin, I don't think you could beat a twin scroll 9180 on a 6boost manifold with E85 for both response and power. Yes, slightly less response than a turbo HEAPS smaller than it but your only really giving it 100 or 200 more rpm before all hell breaks loose and you have unleashed 800 ponies. If you want a good T3 that not many people look at, look up HTA3794, they have great response and top end power, and the spool. Oh the spool. Think hkst51r sound

Not really mate

200 for wheel another 200 for the balance

You'll have to get wastegate/actuator mods anyway regardless of the turbo you buy

That's what I did

Sometimes they come with an actuator

But most turbos are sold as compressor/cores only and utilize the stock Ford wastegate
