And no real need to swap ecu's and what not just dropping your tune in should do(will have to return your old ecu to stock, unlock xcal ect). There is a thread on a na g6 (not e...) to turbo 6 spd manual thread using a written off fg xr6 turbo. Ill have a dig. I was gonna suggest it when I saw your post in WPYO. So sorry about the tripple postMcmatty had already mentioned the build I posted a link to and you have posted in that thread lol.You will need to change the ecu as others have already mentioned and also the engine bay loom. And you will need fraud to sort it all out for you. Edited 06/04/14 02:28 PM by barnz

I was hoping to retain the reverse sensors/dual climate etc with the g6e ICC

Its just na to turbo that is alot of work. Even a g6e na would Mary up with your turbo ecu with fords help and changing the engine bay wiring. Or can the body throw something out?
barnz Member 3,047 Member For: 11y 25d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 07/04/14 12:45 AM Share Posted 07/04/14 12:45 AM Ratter could explain it better but its basically the same reason generic tune is no good. Even though you would be using the same bolt on parts theres no guarantee two given engines perform identically. So maybe flash your tune to get it running then get it touched up. Dont know if unlocking the xcal wipes any stored tunes though?
