Well if they are illegal in qld I suppose ill have to go 19x9 on rear and 19x8/19x8.5 on front

What would be the best offsets to go with for tyre spread and no guard rolling

I dont want to roll the guards because it just gives police more reason to give me a hard time lol

Im about to be spending 6k to get around 300rwkw and want the best traction I can have legally and where insurance wont stuff me around.

Nope, better offset allows better width which allows wider tyres, you can still fit a 265 on a 17x8 +35

But a 17x9.5 +20 will allow the tyre to perform at its peak

If a tyre suited to the rim width is optimum then why does everyone put 275 et's on 8" wide rims for drags? Why would they not run 10" rims...

How the hell should I know haha, ask them. If they're running a small aspect ratio then it's pointless, a larger ratio will allow more flex in the sidewall and allow better traction...if it's on a wheel wide enough so that the contact patch is not being compromised
