God damn, what an arvo.

Set about pulling the old gauges out and putting new ones in. AFR, boost and OIL pressure.

First the old oil sender had to come out, so did the icc. Then the wiring, the old vac lines and the power source.

new vac line went in, with the oil pressure sender and wiring, then gauge wiring. Ended up doing about 20 soldering joints with the wide band.

Heat shrinked and tidied everything up all while painting one of my calipers. Wasn't easy doing it all by myself! Took a good 5 hours... Only have one sh*tty photo cause it's dark

Still working on the lemon, in between Surf club, surfing, and being a lazy arse.

While I was painting callipers, I was clay barring /polishing. This is what one panel of my car turned a new piece into

I encourage anyone to try painting their own callipers, its honestly easy. all you need is:

*wire brush

*wax and grease remover

*rags

*tape/newspaper

*filler primer ( optional )

*high temp paint

Give the calliper a GOOD scrub with the brush, you will notice the difference immediately. Clean with wax and grease and repeat the process 2 or 3 times. you don't want any brake dust in the little divots or the paint WILL NOT STICK. Here's what happens, see the little white spots? I had to re do it

mask it all up, and hit it with primer/paint. Heres where I was working, so Nobody has an excuse to not try ;)

Heres what it should look like after a few coats, yes that's dry and still that shiny.

Slowly fixing the back end up from dero-spec.

New badge, turbo badge, bob tail, polish although its a crap pic ) and no more dirty tail light tint

Gunna bite the bullet and get coil overs/wheels, may as well make it look good now!
