I did a quick google search on what it might look like and if it's the colour I can see it looks awesome ! There is actually a change in colour between the non detailed side and the detailed side. And I am far, far from being good at polishing Wrapped the roof in metallic gloss black avery vynil. I encourage ANYONE trying to vynil wrap, to get quality stuff.3M, avery and helix are all good brands. You will find chinese brands dont have stuff like air release, the vinyl is alot thicker, it is not maleable, will stick as soon as you touch something, creases easy, wont follow even the slightest contours without heat. With the avery wrap myself and a mate literally pulled it taught, laid it on the roof (after proper prep of course) and proceeded to just squeegee the whole thing down with a microfibre towel over the top of the squeegee. They use micro glass bead that keep the adhesive off the paint so you can re position the wrap easily, and when you apply pressure/heat, these beads sink into the adhesive and dissappear. It conformed to 99% of the BA's roof just with slight lifting and using the microfibre towel to form it to the roof. The only place I needed heat was where I stretched a little too much slightly so it would go back to normal. Heat is then applied to that the adhesive sets and you force it to create a new memory in the shape of your roof. Ordered a new oil pressure gauge, Got some alumium that I will use to fab up an enclosed box for the intake which im doing tonight, along with calliper paint and possibly boot relocated battery if I can be bothered, it looks ugly in the BA's engine bay 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/87872-project-lemon-bringing-the-ba-back-from-the-dead/page/2/#findComment-1464733 Share on other sites
