Been seriously looking into this... The other plus about keeping a slightly larger size turbo is I can drive off boost unlike my fg. Plus that sound aww baby.

Look up the 3794 on an xr6 Matty, if the 82 and 86 sound anything like that I'll get one tomorrow. I don't think many people use the HTA because relay vilify was an issue a few years ago and they are hard to get, people can just go guy a GTX. But from what ive read the HTA seems to do what the GTX does only better and has been doing it longer. similar peak power but better spool

Yeah I've seen that

Sounds unbelievable

From what I've seen you can make your own similar HTA specd 35r

I believe monsta torque in WA make a similar turbo

All you need is the billet T04Z compressor wheel and a housing machined to accept the wheel

Maddd.

For the record, the hta:

3582 is a 68lb flowing turbo

3586 is a 75lb

3794 is a 90lb

Does the 0.7 cover still need machining?

Definitely be a sick setup, would suit what I want to as the 7 blade seem to be more happy with moderate boost, it's kind of a waste with me having the 11 blade, they seem to love the 20lb plus applications
