2700 is good if the rear housing comes pre ported with a bigger flapper. Does it come with an actuator attached? If it did that would be awesome.. just a matter of switching the turbos over and getting a tune (obviously having the other supporting bolt ons aswell)

I doubt it man, would be a mad deal but. T3 turbos are now getting ridiculous, nearly no need to ever run high mount setups anymore. My 'little' GTX will push my motor and box anyway, even moreso if I decide to go 66mm T04z wheel hehe. But atleast will live upto my plates, epic spool

My even smaller gtx is pushing the box right to its limits on 98 and beyond on e85

We sacrifice the v8 soundtrack for performance so why can't we try and get some noise back

Thanks fluff, got a couple things coming thatll make it even more unique and should be a nice B series streeter then ;)

I agree completely about the sound mate, V8s are slow fuel guzzling and boring anyway! My mate has a cammed BA and another one a cammed VE, the BA sounds mad but only has 250rwkw, the VE has about 340 but is so boring to drive. Give me 20psi anyday haha.

Litttle update. Decided to buy a second housing so I can get it ceramic coated and im going to do the port job myself. Gpt a fair bit of work other wise to do, like clean the engine bay, paint the rocker cover, gunna put all new coolant and water pipes on it. Made the template for the last bit of my pod enclosure, will cut and paint tonight. moving the battery to the boot tomorrow, and trying to find a TB relocation kit or cold side piping to clean the engine bay up.

The amount of work I have done to get it to this point is pretty solid, I would hate to think what I would have paid in labour at a mechanics. Definitly worth DIY'ing everything I can. Ive learnt so mcuh about the car aswell, which is invaluable. I know everyone says it but hopefully she will be done after that. The only other thing I have planned is a built box, I have a second box coming that I want to try and build myself with a 3k stally, e series oil pump gears ect. Then time to cruise

Not a fan of cams at all

The just make the car undrivable and in efficient

I will admit his sounds f*cking mint though, gets comments off oldschool V8 blokes all the time.

waiting for my studs to arrive, so everything can be assembled. So far the turbo, all piping, the intake, the TB, rocker cover, radiator hoses are all off. Been doind all this in my driveway, I cannot wait to get my own place and be able to have a well setup garage.. Little tip for DIY guys, use sandwich bags and seperate different sections of your cars' bolts into them ( I have the rockercover/head in one, turbo in another, all the piping clamps and screws in another) makes it alot easier when you put it back together.

going to loctite and gasket seal everything to minimise the chance of leaks/ things coming loose. Anything else I should do as preventative maintenance while the car is like this guys?

Cams are fun in a manual and do sound awesome but wouldn't bother with these cars until high power is wanted, true ?
