No I had the stock actuator on with the previous setup.

For now im running straight from compressor housing to the actuator bypassing the boost controller. 12psi actuator.

Pulled the actuator off and lengthened the rod to the right length. Got boost to sit at 15psi using the overboost valve on a softer setting.

This will do until I fit the new injectors, valve springs and get a tune.

we've gone bigger than that but a lot depends on the casting, but there is more to a good port job than just the size, we did a car a while back that was tuned in Sydney to 18 psi but on a cold night was getting 23 psi even after it had been ported, we removed the GTX and did our own port job and now it holds at 18.5 on a cold night, apparently the owner heard the overboost valve go off once on a very cold night at 19 psi at high revs after a long pull in 5th gear

yeah I do my own but there are plenty of people that do a good job, most turbo shops just seem to make a larger hole and fit the larger flapper, they can work in many cases but not all cases, it is normally only an issue if trying to keep the boost at lower levels, if can only get down to say 16 psi with control but you end up wanting to run 18 psi you do not need to go any more flow

Looks like a good base to have started with. Plenty of time of Dyno time spent on this car overall.

Shows some love has gone into it.

Appears to be a nice tune. Do you have AFRs/Lambda

I'm glad it shows the comparison between the two so you can really see how punchy the stock turbo is

It doesn't feel much different to the stock one low down our not that I can tell and Simon said the same with the torque. I don't know all the technical stuff too much...what are AFR's,oh and while I'm asking I see WOT thrown around, what is that. Thanks. I'll upload a PIC of the turbo.
