Just placed order for a GTX3576R and a .82 internally gated housing. Smaller housing + smaller more advanced turbo, should be interesting.

Just hope my order got through on the last day of the MTQ special.

Damn you Stazza_Brendan. I saw that special but valve springs need to be done first. You'll hate it I reckon. Will sell to me cheap :)

If the .82 doesnt work out I have a spare ford housing I bought that I can use.

Power will be sub-400rwkw on 98 (no E85 here) but on the street it should be awesome.

Ill also need new injectors and possibly valve springs.

Really interesting to see some B series owners going this way. Also, I think those that step up from a GT3582R to GTX3582R, probably don't notice the lag increase as much as an FG owner does, hence the disappointment some have expressed.

Just got back from Xtreme. Simon was busy so I spoke to Shaun. Anyway,I have been quoted 6500 for race air box, battery relocate, valve springs, surge with twin fuel pumps and GTX3582. Shaun went and asked Simon how much for the Precision. He said 3000 on top but its not the 6235 its one they use not sure which one but its a lot of work to get it on. He said they do another one which is easier. I said is it the 6235.....hes not sure but he will call me tomorrow. I expected more but $6500 before now $9500. Doesnt seem right. I hope he gets back to me and says the 6235 is cheaper than that. Going by what people are saying the GTX3576 might be the better choice. So the GTX3576 is better than the standard FG F6 turbo. I like the quick spool but want a bit more up top.

When you look at the overlay maps, the GTX3576R will nearly push as much air as the FG F6 turbo (GT3582R). But, spools significantly faster.

I have been informed a MTA900 come on 400rpm earlier than a GTX35 on the same car :) will wait to see some data before treating as gospel (I am a MTA fan boy)

Anyways would be keen as to have a few grudge races with some of these GTX cars at QR; also looking forward to seeing some power curves on these little bad boys
