Hi guys. I have a G6Et with 325rwkw. It has full Nizpro exhaust,Nizpro cooler,id1000 injectors,12p actuator etc etc. In 2 weeks its going to Xtreme Ford Tuning (Perth) to get battery relocation kit, race air box, valve springs and GTX3582. Its purely a road car. It wont see a drag strip and im more about how it drives and not about being a dyno queen. I have beard that the GTX3576 is still responsive and still pulls hard. Just spoke to a guy at a track day with the 3582 and he said it really it pretty laggy and recommended the 76. I have only a short time to go one way or the other. Please could anyone with some experience on this help. I dont want to make the wrong choice. Thanks.

If you are staying on 98 or even better P100 it depends on how much power you want. You will go 400+ with 3582 and p100

I dont know much about the small turbos, maybe someone can offer power estimate.

Few similar threads recently.

The GTX3576 (currently on sale at MTQ) is quoted a producing 15% more power than the stock turbo.

The stock turbo can also be upgraded with new wheel, front cover etc - ala RW.

Similar spool to stock turbo, but more power (high 300s rwkw), look at mta or nizpro borg warner turbo.

Much more power - look at the precision 6235 or GTX3582, but will add some lag.

Personally, I have the precision and don't really notice much lag.

You got an awesome tuner, best bet would be to chat to them...

I thought about the Precision. Ive heard lag is not bad and more top end. I also heard before and also from a guy at RAC driving centre where I am now that reliability is an issue with the ceramic ball bearings. Simon at Xtreme likes them.

Yes, long term reliability of the gtx on the turbo 6 at high power is proven.

The precision's reliability is not known

Thanks for the info guys. I might talk to Simon about the reliability of the Precision. The guy I spoke to at the driving centre said lag is not an issue on his xr6 Precision. Comes on at around 2600 compared to 3300 on the GTX. Looks like that might be the go if they are reliable compared to earlier Precisions.

Haven't precision really changed the design of their recently making it more reliable?

GTX3576 - generally make 350-380rwkw on 98

GTX3582 - make 400 easy on 98 and a lot more on e85

MTA 750 - makes about 400 on 98

Precision 6235 - same as gtx 82 but earlier boost and higher peak power

I'd imagine xft would recommend precision, isn't that what they have on their f6E?

hey mate , with your precision 6235 are you confident in lining someone up from the traffic lights and being in front under the speed limit?

350-380 on 98? According to the manufacturer they are supposed to be capable of 600 hp, depending on how you do the Maths that would work about maybe the 340 - 350 mark
