Well, to be fair, if I go black I'd get a clear coat over the top...so wouldn't get the swirling you get with the standard piano black finish. Not sold on white. One of the guys over on the AFF (I think he's on here too) had these panels in his GT done in white and it looks different but I couldn't live with it every day.

^^ That GT is nice but I am not sure about the white.

I agree with the black being a dust, scratch and fingerprint magnet. But I also think that a good quality aftermarket job with a few coats of clear will be a lot more durable then the OEM for piano black.

Other options that I have been thinking about are a dark graphite with a few coats of gloss. Even a darker silver with gloss would look good.

I think what makes the factory silver look cheap is the fact that its a light silver and also a flat finish. Look at the pictures that GeGe6 posted on the previous page of the G6ET 50th with a gloss silver finish, it looks 1000 times better then the flat silver and a lot classier.

Yeah, having had the piano black on my XR50T I have to admit it does feel and look less cheap, durability aside. But I dunno, I'll have to look a little more into some of the hydro dipping patterns etc and see if anything else tickles my fancy.
