I changed the oil and filter. Flushed twice.

How many Ks you done.

roughly 125k on the odo. doubt it has ever been drained and changed. and not a fan of the "filled for life" idea

mine took 1 liter, the ppl that did mine said they did it at the right temp too, under 40 degrees, I've read on AFF ppl saying it took 400-500ml, I'd be thinking they'll have problems with incorrect fluid level.

I think it surpasses 55 degrees you have to let it cool down, which can be a hassle. has yours got the gw fluid or the ford supplied in it?

I think u quoted me not arronm lol but anyway mine has the expensive lifeguard stuff, had a service 18 months ago so was still nice and clean, wasn't any point doing anything more then a top up. Guys at the shop I went to had mine on the hoist most the day so it was nice and cool once they topped it up.

Our car only had 70000k on it. Oil was a bit dirty but not bad.. I dropped oil, changed filter, new PWR heat exchanger, and re-filled with gulf western. Then 1000ks and dropped the oil again.

Will do it again at 100000ks. Oil is cheap and the job doesnt take long. After than I will do it every 50000ks

I would change yours when you get the cooler put on.

@arronm that's what I was considering doing aswell considering I'll be messing around under there. least the filter and gulf western oil is cheap compared to the lifeguard

also, bit off the topic but the diff fluid. anyone changed that and put in some after market stuff at all? thinking of doing that roughly at the same time

Yeh takes about 2L. I use a fully synthetic castrol SAF- XA or similar. Make sure its fully synthetic. The gears really shear the oil. With this oil, no additive is needed.

Use one of these to help get the oil in

I got my PWR kit fitted at CMS the other day along with a BMW pan and flush for $500 with Gulf Western fluid. I supplied the parts.

Gotta admit pretty happy with the outcome although I have noticed it takes a bit longer to warm up the ZF from cold start

for those that got a PWR one installed, how much are you getting charged for the installation?

the quote I got was quite unexpected.

I did mine myself. $130 for 20L of gulfwesten and 50 for a filter. And of course the cost of the PWR unit.

Its quite an easy job.
