my car goes in for a tune and eboost fitted this week. I was woundering if I could start my car without the any boost control hooked up? I only need to reverse out of my awkward driveway and onto the road for the tow truck to pick it up??

Id assume if it starts and runs, then it should be fine. Doubt you will boost up at 1000rpm.lol

It'll be fine unless you put your foot down, then it'll either hit 30psi and send the exhaust wheel through the cat, or just go into limp mode...in which case it'll still get on the tow truck

With that in mind - is there a way to force a car into limp mode (to ensure safety etc if just wanting to move a car)?

Pour a ltr bottle of bourbon into the tank, that much bourbon instigates limp mode in most things.
