that's only because of how pathetic Ford's sales are.

If you get better funding for better products inititally, do you think it might be easier to sell said "better funded" product?

It pretty simple both Expensive Daewoo and ford never had a chance, because they built cars they wanted to build and not the cars people wanted to buy.

Everyone is buying smaller cheaper cars, so the Late model camira and falcon kept getting bigger and more expensive

Exactly the point, will-82... both Expensive Daewoo and Ford (and toyota, but who really cares...) had a roughly equal chance of surviving as an Austalian manufactured vehicle around the time both VE and FG came out. Expensive Daewoo get double the funding for more sales (no sh*t... better products due to having more money to spend on R&D) but choose to accept and spend all of that tax-payer funded advice, just to give us the VE and VF commodore's...

Ford and Toyota got some money too, but you don't see them offering a significantly advanced technological product offering.

Falcon sales 1996 = 77800. 2012= 14000. That's what happened

2014 sales. YTD Falcon=2304. Commodore=10551. That says it all. People know the VF is the better car
