Much appreciated :)

I'd appreciate not having to merge 30,000 posts from you.....

Second button on the left 'MultiQuote' it works well.

for some reason I can not post links, or pics or smileys, but it is in my sponsor section but possibly 4 or 5 pages down

http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/57722-performance-exhaust/

Pinned it to the top as well.

Lol thanks chief! I use the mobile version so it only says quote when you click a post...maybe mods can add multiquote for mobile version?

Or I will just remember to switch to full version when there are several posts to reply to lol only issue with that is my sh*tty phone sometimes freezes when using full version on phone (and I have an s4 so its not even that sh!t of a phone)

Or am I missing the obvious button somewhere? Or does the forum app have the multiquote button function built in?

Cheers for fixing my 30000 posts! Hahaha :)

Not that it's applicable to phone view but FTFY :P

Also Peter, does your phone battery serial number start with BD? If so get it replaced under warranty. My S4 was restarting itself heaps - battery was from this faulty batch. Or do what I did - bought a shiny gold one from fleabay for like $11 delivered, plus it's like 30% more capacity!

Hmmm.....interesting I will have a look now lol

I got one of the first ones so maybe?

Can you PM me the link for said gold battery? (if you remember)

30% more capacity would be awesome...I swear browsing on the internet can run my battery flat in like 3 hours or so lol

And yeah multiquote for phone view would be the next thing for mods or whoever to work on lol ... but idk how hard/how much money that would cost to develop?

Fg exhaust is awesome man I don't know why anyone would wanna replace it until making heaps of power and it becomes a bottle neck..

So quiet cruising round slowly with the mrs/ family whatever and sounds decent when you boot it

Maybe it's just me but I HATE booming exhaust noise when just cruising round sedately

Tim, you have heard my car, what are your thoughts?

I am normally in the car and have the music blasting, so I don't really know whether it is that loud or not.

When I cruise around it is barely there, but when I give it the boot, the venom 5" cat makes the note deeper.

Question is whether that note sounds okay or not.

One of the forum members is making 426kw with the standard cat back exhaust. Other than it holding the performance back would it effect the life of the turbo or motor ??

I love the sound of the standard cat back and if I can keep it and make around 400kw once I upgrade my turbo I will be happy. But if its bad for the turbo and motor I might have to go with something like what ratter was talking about and run a boost referenced flapper to keep the noise down while cruising.

From my understanding there is enough air flow to make the power, but it makes the turbo work harder.

If you upgrade you exhaust to say a 3.5" or even a 4" the airflow is better which means the turbo does not have to work as hard to make the same pressure, if that makes sense.

I think it does reduce the lifespan of the turbo if it is working harder.

From memory it sounded pretty good to me, sounds more raspy/aggressive than mine dunno whether it's due to the high flow cat or just more power.
