I originally had that cooler and piping but went over to the pw core but kept the piping

It's not a bad piece of kit and fits pretty easily.

You really need to work the hotside piping with the plaz turbo side

True....I always thought those kits were el cheapo looking (and heard fitment issues with them as well?)....but maybe not?

When you say 'work the hotside piping' does that mean move it so it rests on the air intake pipe? So there's bugger all room between hot side pipe and air intake pipe? I think I have read your threads before and don't remember if you posted any engine bay pics :/

TBH for the extra $80 I would prefer a 'brand name' cooler kit....especially if the PW piping works..

I guess I will keep trawling through build threads to see if anybody has got the exact setup I'm after

No worries

It's really not a bad kit but as soon as I went turbo side I ran into a few issues but was easily overcome and if I kept all the pipes it came with I wouldn't have had an issue.

But yes I'd definitely go brand name if I had my time again

For what your after PW will be over 2k dont know about Plaz but from what ive read will but close to 2k

I will be getting PW stage 1 step Kev said its good for low 400 and I just got a KPM air intake and its great and looks stock.

The rest is up to you but remember you buy sh1t you get sh1t do it right the first time and save in the long run. Yes it might cost more to start off but you'll be a happier man in the end.

I wouldn't be buying the stage 3 lol I'd go for stage 1 like you have mentioned; cause good for up to 400 (I think I read even more...like 440 or something?).

This is for my 'first round' of mods....low 300's (I'll be happy to even crack 300...but cause I'm going turbo side now; I'm thinking 305-310 wont be out of the question). And yeah I know 'the poor man pays twice' but sometimes sh1t happens and what you can afford is what you can afford :/

I'm going plaz turbo side + relo, venom bolt in cat, stage 1 tune from monsta torque (includes the 1000cc injectors), either PW surge or just larger intank (prob stinge out for now and go intank I rekon) and then fg f6 cooler with appropriate piping (which I'm hoping the PW kit will work) - also have a TB elbow from rapids, but trying to make that the last thing I buy from him (cause of the shocker I heard over the w/e)....anyways; my issue is yes the rapids kit apparently clears the plaz turbo side....but if the PW one does too...then I'd be crazy not to get that (being same price and probably better quality)...

and yes I know the F6 cooler is one of those highly debated things and that apparently f6 cooler is no better than stock; but I've heard from 3 trustworthy people (2 of them being tuners) and all have said I will be fine for low 300's; one guy even saying 330rwkw will be fine....but yeah round 2 mods will see me in the stage 1 PW cooler - plus other go fast bits; but that will be some time away.

anyways.....I appreciate all the links! I will probably give them a good reading tonight; and hopefully there is some evidence that the plaz/pw combo will work!

P.S. I have a growler and plaz muffler delete pipe ATM (plus blocked BOV) and yeah it sounds good when on the loud pedal....but I want even more induction noise; so that when tune time comes, I can scare all the little children on the side of the road (and any unsuspecting people who have their car windows down) hahahah

A single 460 with reg will go 400

I copied a plaz turbo side to make mine I have pw cooler and piping and they are not far of touching maybe 5mm between them
