picking up a my new car, a BA tomorrow,

100xxxkm, v/springs, fuel pump, injectors, GTX, intercooler and exhuast. Rekons all the parts are only <2000km old. Said it has 2 tunes one @ 294 on 10psi and one @ 325 on 14 PSI. How safe is it to run the 14PSI tune seeings that itll be more flow than a std GTX and I know what these earlier engines are like?

Just go get a dyno run tro see how everything is? The price im getting it for is to good to refuse!

plus I have 450rwkw on E85 on tap whenever I want to build the auto ;)

Yeh dude already got it hey, pretty happy with the buy too, just some cosmetic stuff to fix up.

Yeh that's what I figured panda eyes, I have to baby it at the moment cause its running off an eboost and says overboost whenever I get up it so I've been careful until I get it looked at.

Anyone want an eboost? It'll be up for sale real soon

I run 20psi on the same motor- its all how the tune is set up.

On a ba?! God damn.

Henz I'll let you know when I work out how to get it out of the car haha

looks like stupid me bought a sh*tbox.

Has a GTX off an eboost, and after a quick drive last night resulting in it going into limp mode I had a look. There is about 400 tee's coming off both actuator line and boost line, to god knows where. I dont even know if it has been tuned with the new turbo on, just kleeps boosting and boost cut kicks in so no more boosting for a little while till I get it sorted. Im ripping the eboost out and running the actuator straight to the stock solenoid and vacuum off the inlet to the BOV for the time being.

So much for getting a fun car with a GTX, its just causing me headaches! never did this on the test run, although I didnt really get up it either
