Hey guys,

Trying hard to sift through all the threads to find an answer, so I'm hoping someone will be able to help me quicker.

Basically I'm after a wide as possible rim as I can get. Plans are to to have the rim flush with the rear guard and 265 tyres (tiny bit of stretch).

I currently have 17x9 +15 on the rear. I've been using the 1010tyres offset calculated and pretty much got most of it figured out, but what I'm worried about is one of the bolts on the lower control arm. Not sure if I'll get an 18x10 in. If anyone has done this, can they please let me know what offsets work and pics if possible !!!

Promise to post pics when I get it figured out and the new rims !!!

Message vxr50t, he has 18x10 on the rear, can't remember his offset, it's in the fg offset and tyre questions thread. I remember it having to be around the 20-25 mark to clear the knuckles where the control blade bolts on

Did someone say my name? :)

Ive got 18x10 +33 rears on mine and it just clears the rear lower trailing arm. You'd want at least +33 or lower offset as mine are about 2mm away from the trailing arm.

A lot of it will depend on the type / brand of wheel as some have indentations and some are flat on the barrel section of the wheel (dunno the correct term) that could come in contact with the trailing arm if there isn't enough space as the trailing arm sits in the rim

Fair enough. Thinking I may just have to suck it up and get the 9.5's just incase. Ordering off the net, so no refunds unfortunately !!! Cheers mate !!!

My rear circuit wheels are 18X 9.5 with +22 offset and 275/35 18 tyres.

The car is low at the back and has rolled guards.

The rears scrape on the inside with anything under 1.5-2 deg neg camber.

A +20 offset would only work on my car with 265/35 18's.
