It must be one of the other bands I read about that you need to take out lid & sidewall as its bolted together.

All ( major brand except nizzy )4 inch race air boxes have a separate lid from sides

Why nizzy, cause total bellends lol, yep their race style airbox is so "fancy" its all one part and makes for even cleaning the pod a major fark around

Nizzy can EABOD

Just curious, but has anyone gone from aftermarket CAI in the stock location to a CAI on the turbo side, and noticed a difference in terms of sound (louder) ?

Went from pw street air box in factory position to custom turbo side intake. There is no comparison if you want noise and flutter turbo side is unbeatable.

Hey Mate,

My question was, has anyone upgraded from CAI in the stock location (like what you have), to a turbo side, and noticed a difference in sound. I also have an airbox in the stock location (Bluepower), and was curious if there was any difference in sound going to a turbo side over this kind of setup.

Yes turbo side is 60% louder again than a BP airbox

60%....very interesting. I think its more like 63% increase IMHO

Is that percentage based on any statistics/figures/research :P lol

But yes...of coarse turbo side intake will be significantly louder...shorter piping and metal = louder

yes I had to cut my nizpro air box lid and fit angle on the inside so that it would be able to be removed with ease . I just used some screws to hold it down , not the neatest job but it does the job
