just sitting here interested to know how much would it cost if I wanted 1000hp. what would it involve to the engine ie blue printing, changing rods and pistons, bearings. bigger turbo, intercooler, injectors. I already have 400kw so clearly 1000 is the next step right.

Big job. I'm in the process or starting a build at the moment. It takes a lot of money, time and patience. It's not as simple as just throwing new rods and pistons etc.

But in the end it'll all be worth it.

A couple of guys I knew with some big powered Turbo Fords were always working on there cars at that power level. Dont know if its worth it as a daily driver but some will argue it. I would probably spend the money on a car more worthy of the money(R35 GTR).

Yeah I couldn't be arsed with the hassle and upkeep of a 1000hp car, not very streetable tbh

Depends whether you want a 1000hp dyno warrior or one that can be driven. Need to factor in built diff, billet axles, brakes to match etc. I reckon $50k if starting with a stock car. You can prob save a bit on that with current mods but yea not cheap
