Hi guyz and girlz, I'm new to the site. I've owned XR6's before and about to take delivery of a brand new 2014 plated FG XR6T MKII. Looking at doing some mods, including to increase performance and a few cosmetics, since that typical sporting look is lacking compared to the BA/BF series. I would like to start with an exhaust system. Just would like to know what suggestions people might have? Any help would be appreciated.

I would not start with exhaust. They don't limit the car that much apart from the cat.

(Or I may be wrong as I think later FG's have a restrictor ring?)

Save your $$ for a 5" 100cpi cat, air intake/filter, bigger injectors, intercooler/pipes, xcal flash box, dyno tune.

I would go a 4inch dump and cat but keep the standard cat back as it isnt very restrictive and also gives it moar noise but itll need a retune

If it's power your after starting with exhaust wont do much.Dont start with the exhaust as 1st mod if your after making the car go quicker.

Most 2011+ FG's have a higher flowing cat but with a restrictor ring, all it needs is to be ported out and the factory exhaust flows very well and does not need upgrading unless you are going to put a big turbo on.
