Thought its about time I put up a build thread for my F6

I purchased the car new in Jan 2010.

I dragged it a fair bit and got a best time of 12.6@112mph and recorded 266rwkw on the dyno.

Wheels are BBS CH black in 8.5&9.5

Tyres Nitto Invo 245/35r19&285/30r19

First mods It went to Autotech engineering in Dec 2011.

PW stage 3 intercooler

PW battery reloction and race airbox

PW anti surge and 044

Crow race valve springs

Dekka 60 injectors

Xforce 4" full exhaust

Turbo wastegate port and larger flapper

This resulted in 353rwkw an a best time of 11.7@123 on street tyres.

Snapped the tailshaft on the street so Gibson driveshafts made me one of thier first uni jointed shafts.

Second round of mods May 2013 the car went to CMS Motorsport.

GTX3582R and new rear housing

ID1000 injectors

Car then went 451rwkw on eflex and 400 on 98.

Snapped input shaft and Joe had me going again with a cryo and shotpeened item.

Recorded bests of 11.44@131 on street tyres and 10.91@131 on ETs

Around the same time I had coils failing and the 044 die. Im sure there is a lot more in it.

Since then I had Sydney suspension go over it and rebuild all the suspension.

King ssl and sssl

Bilstien shocks

Whiteline sway bars front and rear

All bushes that could be replaced with Superpro items

They did a brilliant job sandblasting and or painting every component.

Car is now getting to where I want it but not finished yet.

Future plans are dual entry fuel rail and second 044, then tune on united e85 and turn the wick up on the stock motor

autotechs power figures seem a little low for the mods you had done

353 on 98 is a very honest figure, a lot of guys are very dissapointed with there power figure when they run it on Autotech's dyno.

This is why you should only use dyno figures as a rough guide, MPH will give you a better indication of the power you have.

Yeah Autotech has a tough dyno. Both workshops I've used I thoroughly recommend. Dont focus too mich on dyno numbers.

My best time was done with stuffed coils, bosh 044 not up to scratch, flogged out suspension and loose manifold/turbo bolts so id like 134mph+ out of it now.

Word of warning, noisy 044 pumps. Mine got steadily louder untill it was unbearable and stopped pumping. The new one I put in is as quiet as a mouse.

Has been my daily driver since I bought it and now at 12x,000kms im retiring it to the shed.
