It's full of boasters and posers..

I'd own one again in a heartbeat.. Got my heart set on a 2015 STi with lux pack..Admittedly the dollars that went into fixing it and making it fast were farking ridiculous..While I loved the XR6T's pull, I actually think the WRX was a much more 'fun' car to commute in daily.. (that's not saying the 6T wasn't fun, I just think the WRX was funner if you catch my drift). When I owned one it was good because I knew a few blokes with them, knew a couple fellas with Integra type R's (Vtec YO!) and one bloke with an Evo.. But the wider world of people in those cars turned me off ever attempting to get involved with them to the level I participate on this forum.. I would stalk the forums and rarely find the information I needed because they were 99% full of sh*t..Plus my WRX was cop bait.. Actually I think most of them are..XR6T is faster for sure..XR6T more practical..XR6T more comfortable on highway trips.XR6T sedans can fit grown ups in the back..XR6T was better on fuel..XR6T preferred by wife..XR6T didn't seem to break as easy..WRX have me a harder morning wood..Personal choice..

Can't wait to go again next year, gotta save my pennies.Outright second place went to a red Subary Liberty though...like a 90's one too hahaha. But racewars is drag racing isn't it? Surely the WRX would have some salt in gymkhana kind of event?

Both yourself and I have sedans. This means that there is more weight at the back and more traction. I reckon it could also be the tune and how the boost comes on and the amount of torque at play. That being said, I think the biggest issue may be the drivers. I dont know you personally, so I cant judge you, but I do know that when I loose traction on the roads, my butt hole tends to do a lot of exercise trying to keep control of the car. This is due to the lack of experience driving a performance car.I really wish that Perth had skidpan days where we could learn to drift in the wet, in a safe and controlled environment. Then we may have better controll of the car at 60km/h. The suspension makes them tail happy, not the weight.
