Clutch is in, got the 230mm twin plate ceramic and xtreme are not joking when they say for race use only! I feels completely different to my mates in his f6. First impressions of mine is a really light pedal, lighter than stock but in a good way, pedal feels really good.

The clutch is brutal though. Don't get me wrong, car is still very drivable but I'm now in the market for a daily. I don't think you would be able to drive this in peak hour everyday, taking off from stationary is ooook and you have a tiny amount of slip but you have to feed it some revs (up around 2.5-3k) and then you get a slight shudder from the wheels wanting to spin and your off! But it's an absolute dog when your rolling slow or have to punch a gap, you just get 0 slip and the thing bites so hard haha.

However, when you are driving it is unreal, haven't kicked it or anything yet as I'm gonna give it ~1000kms to bed in but just general clutch and driveline feel is so much smoother and so much more engaging when changing, really easy to drive actually. I'm sure I'll learn the trick of it after a couple weeks and it will get easier but I've only driven with it today and it's pretty full on. I strongly suggest doing a good comparison between the less gnarly clutches before going ceramic because you do lose a lot of drive ability. But it is a good feeling knowing it can handle 4th gear kicks haha

Ive been having issues with my dump pipe and manifold bolts coming loose quite regularly. I checked them yesterday because it sounded like I had an exhaust leak (a screamer pipe) when I was on WOT and sure enough all my dump bolts were loose as fck and 1 was completely gone and half my manifold bolts I got a full rotation of the socket back on them.

So I called atomic and bought a set of their anchorlox for the my dump pipe, as their pretty expensive ($130 for 5 bolts) I only got the dump ones for now as they were the worst. They just came today so going to be glad when I put them on. Has anyone else used these? Or has anyone got another method? Curious to see other peoples solutions cause as I understand it's a pretty common issue with all turbo engines. 1098a0840926ebe4ef5c33ad8011ab45.jpg

Hate that clutches look so purrrdy....and then hidden away in the transfer case lol

Also interested to know how above kit works....I was tempted...but the price is ridiculous. I think I read that MTQ or someone can supply replacement bolts for dump + manifold for like $50 total? Can't remember the thread, but I was gunna PM Jet to find out

135,000kms....and I think only inlet side has been torqued up once lol wonder how many bolts I'm missing hahaha

Hahah yeh who knows! I'm sure you'd hear it if it got to the stage mine was. I have xforce dump and f6 turbo, I don't know if that may make it worse but I don't really know how it could. Your lucky you've only had to tighten once. Mines got 15,000kms and I've torqued them 4 times.

I've seen some people drill through the nut and stud and put a wire through, and I've also seen some similar little fold over tab things that looked like you could make yourself on one of my mechanics RB's. I'm sure there are some cheaper options but it's just a fck around trying to source all the bits yourself. So nice when it comes in a kit
