Put it between the shortshifter and your new stick with some holes for the screws. Will eliminate the noise transfer.Have a look at your stock shifter- the adaptor block is made from a very hard rubber to decouple noise. Thanks mate. Thanks for the tip. Yeh I know the stock stick is mounted in rubber but having the solid mount feels so much better, if I get sick of the noise I'll try your idea. Haha. I've just been accumulating parts and have run out of money haha. However car should be in at CMS in the next month or 2 hopefully to get tuned. Here are some bits and pieces I have waiting in the garage!Looking forward to getting this in the car along with turbo porting, flapper and actuator mod. And hopefully make some decent power on the little stock turbo. Future plans include precision 6235, full Pw fuel system, clutch and some beefing up of the tailshaft. Missing the baby turbo spool....or content to have way more up top?Random question....(and hope you can remember this far back)....but I notice one of the first mods you did was the turbo side intake? How long did you have the turbo side and that was with the stock tune? I have been advised by 2 reputable Perth tuners, that if I chuck my plaz TS and cooler....it will cause overboost and that I will NEED to tune immediately....I noticed you said it felt 'crisper' so perhaps this is the extra few psi of overboost that I am being warned about? So basically....how long did you run around with the stock tune + turbo side and was there any obvious effect/damage? P.s. your pics helped me decide on how far I want to push the poke on the front lol...I have 18x9+29...and am considering 18x9.5+25 for my next set....so I think I'll be happy with that....bet you're spewing you didn't go a 10" with a +5 or +10 offset for the rears cheers! I drove round with turbo side intake for about 10 months on stock tune with my bov blocked as well and it was absolutely fine, the electronic boost solenoid that the fg's have (don't know about previous models) will handle the change no worries. In saying that I wouldn't drive round with a cooler on as well though, I installed my exhaust and cooler the day before I was getting it tuned and then just nursed it out to the tuner, engine light came on half way there when I got up to about 80-90kph but it was fine and expected. And yes, if I had my time again I would be getting 10's or 10.5's on the rear with a real aggressive offset haha but chose to play it safe when I bought them. Would love to put a 10.5 on the front too but not practical when your on full opposite lock on a bumpy road hahaSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How are the tyres holding up?When revs hit about 3k it's spins 1, 2 & 3 most of the time so tyres are copping a beating haha but wanna get into mid 400's, want 3rd to be like 2nd is now and then I'll be happy haha. Clutch doesn't like the new power though so that'll be getting changed next!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What size tyres and brand?
bjacobs Member 143 Member For: 11y 2m 16d Gender: Male Posted 26/06/15 08:51 PM Author Share Posted 26/06/15 08:51 PM No worries man, the intake will clear stock cooler piping so there's no need to take your front bar off to install the intake, it's really tight but it does fit. I think there's a good chance you'll put your car into limp moe if you drive round with a cooler on as well and no tune.I'm just running some khumos atm, nothing to fancy for the street. 255/35 with a little stretch, I'm running -3 camber at the front so street driving just chews them up. Thinking about going a bigger profile next though with some good stretch and see how that compares, rims get a little bashed around on Sydney roads Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
