My 02 xr6t running 2008 engine is misfiring but sounds like In one just one cylinder now. I dropped the exhuast at the cat and the load backfiring has stoped. So I'm guessing it's electrical fault. Now the hard part I've change 2 sets of plugs gapped to 0.9mm. Coil plugs have been replaced done cam sensors and tested cam adjusters which tested fine. Fault code comes up bank 2 over retarded.
